Softball Recap: Water Canyon Takes a Loss

Water Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Millard Eagles, falling 25-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-0 on Tuesday.

Water Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Millard, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Water Canyon will be playing in front of their home fans against Enterprise at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Millard, they will square off against Delta at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rabbits have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.75 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
