New Palestine beats Greenfield-Central for their ninth straight win

Recap: New Palestine Dragons vs. Greenfield-Central Cougars
The New Palestine Dragons had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.9 points), and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They breezed by Greenfield-Central at home to the tune of 35-0. The result was nothing new for New Palestine, who have now won seven matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
New Palestine had a senior duo take command as Kyler Kropp rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries and Grayson Thomas rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns. Thomas hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for ten straight games.
New Palestine's win was their 12th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.92 points. As for Greenfield-Central, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.
New Palestine will head out on the road to face off against Mt. Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Vernon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully New Palestine likes a good challenge. Greenfield-Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
