Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Jefferson Takes a Loss

Lafayette Jefferson had lost seven straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 5-15 to make it eight. They fell just short of the Faith Christian Eagles by a score of 3-2. The Bronchos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

As for Faith Christian, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 24-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since August 16th.

Caya Stillings went supernova, getting 28 digs and one assist. Those 28 digs gave her a new career-high.

Looking ahead, Lafayette Jefferson will be playing in front of their home fans against Crawfordsville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Faith Christian, they will head out to take on North White at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
