Hoosier North Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Kole Wilcox Delivers Electric Effort Vs Pioneer

Kole Wilcox was instrumental in extending North Judson-San Pierre's winning streak to nine on Friday. Wilcox was dynamite, rushing for 123 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also picking up 75 receiving yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles.

Pioneer's probably not too fond of Wilcox given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Wilcox saw the Panthers), he rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 47 receiving yards.

Jesiah Mcdaniel Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, North Judson-San Pierre got the W thanks in part to Jesiah Mcdaniel playing the best football he has all season. Mcdaniel rushed for 165 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Pioneer had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Mcdaniel it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Mcdaniel saw the Panthers), he rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 84 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Micah Rans Turns in Another Game with at Least 115 Rushing Yards

Micah Rans continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 115 rushing yards. He rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 62 yards and a touchdown. He has become a key player for Pioneer: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.

If the past is any indication, Rans could be in store for another big game when he takes on Caston on Friday. Back in September (the last time Rans saw the Comets), he rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 21 yards and a touchdown.
