Softball Recap: Cherryville Ironmen vs. East Gaston Warriors

Cherryville took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against East Gaston, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Cherryville had just enough and edged out East Gaston 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Ironmen: when they faced off against the Warriors last Tuesday, they had to take a 13-3 loss.

Grace Capps spent all ten innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on 12 hits.
