Soccer Recap: Homestead Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

With a playoff win on the line, Homestead rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Carroll Chargers by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for Homestead: when they faced off against Carroll back in September, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

Homestead hit Carroll with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Grady Wilkins, Dinari Beasley, and Gabriel Agyeman.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Homestead, bringing their record up to 14-3-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matchups. As for Carroll, with the loss, they broke their 13-match winning streak and moved their record to 16-2-1.
