Baseball Recap: Northgate Takes a Loss

Neshannock hit Northgate with a five-run sixth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Flames lost 14-2 to the Lancers. The Flames just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Northgate saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Barron, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Northgate's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Neshannock, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Neshannock beat Northgate by a score of 12-1 on Wednesday.
