Baseball Recap: Salesian Victorious

Salesian posted their closest win since February 21st on Wednesday. They skirted past the Franklin Panthers 9-7. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Vicente Ruiz was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jordan Ramirez, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Salesian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Franklin now has a losing record of 3-4.

Salesian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-0 loss against Cathedral on the 21st. As for Franklin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Arleta on the 24th.
