Basketball Recap: Comstock Comes Up Short

Comstock lost against White Pigeon last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Comstock Colts might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 66-61 to the White Pigeon Chiefs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Colts just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Comstock's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for White Pigeon, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.

Comstock won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Maple Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Comstock is facing Maple Valley at the right time seeing as Maple Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for White Pigeon, they will challenge Lawrence at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. White Pigeon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Lawrence likes a good challenge.
