Softball Game Preview: White House Blue Devils vs. Mount Juliet Golden Bears

White House hasn't had much luck against Mount Juliet recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Golden Bears at 5:00 p.m.

White House is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 17th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They fell 6-3 to Greenbrier.

White House saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaley Greer, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI. That RBI was Greer's first of the season.

Mount Juliet never got on the board in their matchup last Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Hendersonville last Thursday. They blew past the Commandos 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Golden Bears, who have now won 16 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Mount Juliet's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-8-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for White House, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.
