Softball Recap: Wellsville Takes a Loss

East Palestine hit Wellsville with a five-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers lost 12-3 to the Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-6 on Wednesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Wellsville and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for East Palestine, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coincidentally, Wellsville and East Palestine will both be playing United the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Golden Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
