Baseball Recap: Nauset Regional Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bishop Stang, Nauset Regional was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Fairhaven Blue Devils by a score of 6-3. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 4-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win got Nauset Regional back to even at 1-1. As for Fairhaven, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Nauset Regional will look to defend their home field on Monday against St. John Paul II at 4:30 p.m. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fairhaven, they will challenge Bourne at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The game will give the Blue Devils their first taste of in-conference action this season.
