Football Recap: Pueblo Central Wildcats vs. Coronado Cougars

It was a proper cat-fight when Pueblo Central took on Coronado on Thursday. The Wildcats were beaten by the Cougars 70-34. The Wildcats were down 64-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Thomas Buckmiller was his usual excellent self, throwing for 317 yards and six touchdowns while completing 79.2% of his passes for Coronado. Buckmiller is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Collin Wolf did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 131 receiving yards.

Pueblo Central has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Coronado, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
