Lehighton came into Thursday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 12-8 victory over the Pocono Mountain West Panthers on Thursday. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-7. As for Pocono Mountain West, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Lehighton and Pocono Mountain West could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Indians (ranked 413th) will meet Palisades (ranked 101st) at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Pocono Mountain West will square off against Nazareth Area at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (426 vs. 24).
