Hampshire Regional strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Westfield Bombers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Raiders have posted against the Bombers since June 15, 2021.

Ryanne Dubay1 spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Caelyn Thayor, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Kalin Dubay4, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
