Basketball Recap: St. Francis de Sales Takes a Loss

If St. Francis de Sales was riding high fresh off their 78-44 takedown of Liberty Center last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The St. Francis de Sales Knights lost to the St. Mary's Prep Eaglets on the road by a 60-42 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 77th in Ohio, while the Eaglets are ranked sixth in Michigan).

St. Francis de Sales has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for St. Mary's Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

St. Francis de Sales will challenge Bowsher at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Mary's Prep, they will face off against Northview at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
