Baseball Recap: Benjamin Logan Takes a Loss

Benjamin Logan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tecumseh Arrows. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Arrows from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Benjamin Logan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Lyden, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Parker Yelton also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Benjamin Logan's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Tecumseh, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Benjamin Logan will welcome Riverside at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tecumseh, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Bellefontaine at 5:00 p.m.
