Soccer Game Preview: Western Michigan Christian vs. Leland

The Western Michigan Christian Warriors will head out to face off against the Leland Comets at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Western Michigan Christian barely beat Covenant Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors never let the Chargers get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Thursday. Considering Western Michigan Christian have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Leland strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against Harbor Springs.

Western Michigan Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-2-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those six matches. As for Leland, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0.
