Eastern View came tearing into Thursday's contest with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Spotsylvania Knights get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Cyclones, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Cailin Rendell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Tenley Rendell was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, four runs, and one triple. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

Eastern View's record is now 14-1. As for Spotsylvania, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern View will welcome Caroline at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spotsylvania, they will be playing at home against Massaponax at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
