Softball Game Preview: Friday Harbor Wolverines vs. Granite Falls Tigers

The Friday Harbor Wolverines will challenge the Granite Falls Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Friday Harbor is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Concrete with a sharp 28-17 victory on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Wolverines, who have now won three matches in a row.

Meanwhile, Granite Falls made easy work of Orcas Island on Saturday and carried off a 20-6 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won three in a row.

Granite Falls' victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Friday Harbor, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Friday Harbor couldn't quite finish off Granite Falls in their previous meeting back in April of 2023 and fell 7-5. Can the Wolverines avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
