Volleyball Recap: Bishop McDevitt Comes Up Short

Bishop McDevitt lost against Boiling Springs back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Crusaders fell 3-1 to the Bubblers. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Boiling Springs scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21.

Bishop McDevitt's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Boiling Springs, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bishop McDevitt will challenge rival Steelton-Highspire at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Boiling Springs is set to square off against their familiar foe Harrisburg at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
