Basketball Recap: Drexel Find Success

Drexel hadn't done well against Archie recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Drexel Bobcats escaped with a win against the Archie Whirlwinds by the margin of a single free throw, 56-55. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Whirlwinds last Tuesday, they had to take a 63-52 loss.

Drexel's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Archie, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Drexel won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Chilhowee at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Archie, they and Lone Jack will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
