Lunenburg Central has gone 8-2 against Nottoway recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Chargers will head out to face off against the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Lunenburg Central will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

On Monday, Lunenburg Central got the win against Mecklenburg County by a conclusive 17-4. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Nottoway was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Buckingham.

Nottoway saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bradley Hamilton, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Lunenburg Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.4 runs. As for Nottoway, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Lunenburg Central took their victory against Nottoway when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 8-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
