Basketball Game Preview: Hayden Tigers vs. Dolores Bears + How To Watch

The Hayden Tigers will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Dolores Bears at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hayden is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Dugway: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Tigers blew the Mustangs out of the water with a 62-31 final score. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Hayden had a senior duo take command as Jace Bene went 9-for-14 to rack up 18 points along with five rebounds and five steals and Justin Preston posted 18 points and four steals. The game was Bene's fourth in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Cameron Morrison, who put up six points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Dolores beat Centennial 41-32 on Saturday.

Dolores' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Hayden, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Hayden strolled past Dolores in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 55-38. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
