Volleyball Recap: Lake Norman Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lake Norman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the North Iredell Raiders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While Lake Norman was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-20.

Sage Duerr paced Lake Norman's offense, picking up ten kills. Duerr got some help from Alayna Lefebvre and her 18 assists.

Lake Norman's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for North Iredell, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Lake Norman has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Hough on the 8th. As for North Iredell, they will head out to challenge South Iredell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
