Softball Recap: Fairview Eagles vs. Cross Lanes Christian Warriors
Fairview had lost five straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 5-13 to make it six. They fell just short of the Cross Lanes Christian Warriors by a score of 8-7. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.
As for Cross Lanes Christian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since March 24th.
For Cross Lanes Christian's part, Cassidy Witt was a major factor no matter where she played.
