Soccer Game Preview: Randall vs. Hereford

The Randall Raiders will head out to face off against the Hereford Whitefaces at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hereford took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Randall, who comes in off a win.

Randall is headed into the match having not lost since January 18 and will look to keep things rolling. They blew past Pampa 9-0 on Wednesday. Considering the Raiders have won 14 games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Pampa from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Ryann Davis led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Hereford has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They fell 3-1 to Perryton on Monday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Whitefaces couldn't quite close it out.

Randall has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those 13 games. Hereford's loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

Everything went Randall's way against Hereford when the teams last played back in February, as Randall made off with a 14-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Randall since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
