It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Monadnock had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Belmont Red Raiders 2-1. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Red Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Monadnock's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Belmont, with the defeat, they broke their 17-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-2.

Coming up, Monadnock will square off against Bishop Brady on Saturday. The Giants will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight. Belmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
