Basketball Recap: Spaulding Takes a Loss

Spaulding lost against St. Johnsbury Academy back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spaulding Crimson Tide fell 54-42 to the St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers. The loss was the Crimson Tide's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Spaulding fell to 2-1. As for St. Johnsbury Academy, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Spaulding will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Montpelier at 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. St. Johnsbury Academy also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Brattleboro at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
