Volleyball Recap: Rice Lake Warriors vs. Barron Golden Bears
Rice Lake lost against Barron back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rice Lake Warriors fell just short of the Barron Golden Bears by a score of 2-1.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Rice Lake sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 22-25, 15-12.
Madilyn Delawyer and Sedona Gay certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Delawyer had seven digs and 11 assists, while Gay had five digs.
Rice Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Barron, the win was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-2.
Rice Lake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Cadott on the 5th. Barron has also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Eau Claire North on the 5th.
