Volleyball Recap: LOLA TOMMASINI Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Reagan

TERRA Environmental won the last time they faced Reagan and things went their way on Tuesday too. TERRA Environmental walked away with a 3-1 victory over Reagan. The win made it back-to-back victories for TERRA Environmental.

TERRA Environmental had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 27-25, 25-9, 25-8.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead TERRA Environmental to victory, but perhaps none more so than LOLA TOMMASINI, who had 15 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave TOMMASINI a new career-high. EVA PEREZ-GUZMAN was another key player, getting three digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: TERRA Environmental was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

TERRA Environmental's record is now 16-6. As for Reagan, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 6-15 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. TERRA Environmental will welcome Sports Leadership & Management at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Reagan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Varela at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
