Diller-Odell has gone 9-1 against Meridian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Griffin will challenge the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m.

Diller-Odell came up short against Johnson-Brock on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 25-16.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Meridian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Nebraska Lutheran by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Meridian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 23-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Diller-Odell has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Meridian, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Diller-Odell beat Meridian 2-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Griffin since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
