Softball Recap: Windham Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

Windham proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Biddeford Tigers 3-1. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Kennedy Kimball spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 16 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Addison Caiazzo, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Lacie Higgins, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Windham's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.
