Basketball Game Preview: Lafayette County Huskers vs. Gallatin Bulldogs

Lafayette County is on a eight-game streak of home wins, while Gallatin is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Lafayette County Huskers will be taking part in a tournament against the Gallatin Bulldogs at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday. Lafayette County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Gallatin likes a good challenge.

Lafayette County's tournament run continued when they took on South Harrison on Tuesday. Everything went Lafayette County's way against South Harrison as Lafayette County made off with a 64-41 win. Lafayette County has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.6 points per game. As for Gallatin, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
