Volleyball Recap: Crawford Takes a Loss

Crawford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-13.

Camryn Powers paced Crawford's offense, picking up five kills. Powers got some help from Ainsley Anderson and her 12 assists.

Crawford's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Stephenville, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

Crawford has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Weatherford on the 23rd. As for Stephenville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Coronado on the 23rd.
