Volleyball Game Preview: Piedmont Highlanders vs. Castro Valley Trojans

Piedmont hasn't had much luck against Castro Valley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Highlanders will challenge the Trojans at 5:30 p.m.

Piedmont is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game last Friday. They came up short against Bishop O'Dowd, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Castro Valley had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cardinals.

Piedmont's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Castro Valley, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.

Piedmont couldn't quite get it done against Castro Valley in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 2-0. Can the Highlanders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
