Basketball Recap: Willow Glen Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 28-28 at halftime, Willow Glen was not quite Westmont's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Westmont Warriors by a score of 55-53. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-61 back in January.

Willow Glen's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-10. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points over those games. As for Westmont, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-5.

Coming up, Willow Glen will welcome Leigh at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Leigh will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Willow Glen surely won't give up without a fight. As for Westmont, they will head out to face off against Christopher at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th.
