Basketball Recap: Poplar Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Poplar and Fairview squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Poplar had to settle for second. They fell 47-40 to the Fairview Warriors. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Poplar's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Fairview, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Poplar nor Fairview have any future games scheduled.
