Union Academy had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Union Academy was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 24-26, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Kaia Komorek and Bailey McManus, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Sara Baker and her 47 assists. Finally, Komorek was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Union Academy's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for South Stanly, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Union Academy will welcome Metrolina Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Stanly, they will host North Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
