Brayden Loyd turned in his biggest game of the season on Tuesday, striking out 21 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and not a single walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than one earned run. On the year, he has an ERA of 2.83 over 17.3 innings pitched.

Loyd's strong effort led Seymour over Olney and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are 9-1 against the Cubs going back to March of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
