Baseball Recap: Coleman Takes a Loss

Coleman fell victim to Ballinger and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bluecats in their meetings with the Bearcats: they've now lost eight in a row.

Coleman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Elder, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Coleman's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Ballinger, they pushed their record up to 15-6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coleman didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-1 defeat against Stamford on the 1st. As for Ballinger, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-5 loss against Anson on the 2nd.
