If Goodman-Pembine wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Southern Door, they should've done a better job of containing Alanna Paye. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the Falcons on Saturday with plenty of help from Paye, who had 11 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 14 games she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Southern Door and bumps their season record up to 16-11. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-30 Goodman-Pembine and 1-14 Green Bay West. As for Goodman-Pembine, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-30.
