Calvary Christian posted their closest victory since September 12, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Grant County Braves. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Calvary Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Grant County, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 4-1.

Coming up, Calvary Christian will venture away from home to challenge Bracken County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Grant County will be paying especially close attention to the Cougars' match: after the Cougars face off against the Polar Bears, they'll take on Grant County again at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
