Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Dixie Werner and Kaitlin Stadler Lead Pleasant Grove to Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pleasant Grove had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Fremont Silverwolves by a score of 2-0. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Silverwolves recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Leading Pleasant Grove to victory were Kaitlin Stadler and Dixie Werner. Stadler had 11 digs, while Werner had three digs and three aces. That's the most aces Werner has posted over her last five contests.

Pleasant Grove's victory bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Fremont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 28-4.

As of now, neither Pleasant Grove nor the Silverwolves have any future games scheduled.
