Volleyball Game Preview: Paul VI Panthers vs. Bishop McNamara Mustangs

The Paul VI Panthers will square off against the Bishop McNamara Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop McNamara took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Paul VI, who comes in off a win.

Paul VI took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Everything went their way against Bishop Ireton as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Paul VI was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-21, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Bishop McNamara faced The Academy of the Holy Cross in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Tartans. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-12, 25-11.

Paul VI's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Bishop McNamara, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
