Volleyball Recap: Mountain Home Takes a Loss

If Mountain Home was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Harrison on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bombers fell just short of the Siloam Springs Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Bombers were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

Mountain Home took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-20, 22-25, 25-20, 15-13.

Mountain Home's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Siloam Springs, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain Home will head out to take on Paragould at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Siloam Springs, they will square off against Bentonville at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
