Football Recap: Reed Alexander's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Heritage over Millbrook + How To Watch

Heritage lost against Millbrook back in September of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pride fell 26-15 to the Pioneers.

Heritage lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Reed Alexander, who rushed for 127 yards and one score. Luke Olszewski was another key player, rushing for 93 yards on only nine carries.

Heritage didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Pip Groves.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Millbrook, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Heritage will square off against Loudoun Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Pride their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Millbrook, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Loudoun County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
