Football Game Preview: Chillicothe Cavaliers vs. Archbishop McNicholas Rockets

The Chillicothe Cavaliers are taking a road trip to square off against the Archbishop McNicholas Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Chillicothe's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Jackson on Friday. They were outmatched by the Ironman/Ironladies and fell 35-0. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Ironman/Ironladies recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Archbishop McNicholas hadn't beaten Badin on the road since October 28, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Rockets came out on top against the Rams by a score of 17-10. The win was all the more spectacular given the Rockets' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Rams are ranked 46th).

Chillicothe's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Archbishop McNicholas, their record now sits at an identical 6-4.
