Softball Game Preview: Highland Trojans vs. Munster Mustangs

Highland is 1-9 against Munster since April of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Trojans will host the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. Highland has given up an average of 11.3 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Highland lost 13-3 to Andrean on Monday.

Hailey Thomas was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Meanwhile, Munster entered their tilt with Hobart on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Brickies a 16-0 shutout. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.

Munster's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
