Baseball Recap: Millikan Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Millikan got themselves on the board against Santa Fe on Friday, but Santa Fe never followed suit. They came out on top against the Santa Fe Chiefs by a score of 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

The result came thanks to Owen Waytas's shutout, as he gave up just five hits and racked up nine Ks. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.

At the plate, Anthony Pack was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Millikan hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Santa Fe struck out eight times.

Millikan pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Santa Fe, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
